A veteran in conversation with a support worker

The One Door model

One door, one conversation, a clear next step

Most people don't need another brochure. They need someone who knows the system and will stay with them until they're connected.

  1. 1

    Contact

You call, email or send a short message. You don't need a diagnosis, a service category or a completed form.

  2. 2

    Identify the need

A straightforward conversation about your situation — health, claims, housing, work, family, or simply not knowing where to begin.

  3. 3

    Navigate the systems

Rally Point knows the local and national landscape: DVA, health services, ex-service organisations, employment, housing and community supports.

  4. 4

    Warm referral

Rather than handing you a phone number, Rally Point makes the introduction to the right service and provides the context, so you don't have to start again.

  5. 5

    Follow-up

Follow-up continues until you are genuinely connected with support, not just referred. If a door doesn't open, we try another.

What Rally Point is

  • A local first point of contact for people who don't know where to start.
  • A guide to services across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.
  • Practical help — calls made, forms understood, introductions arranged.
  • Independent, and not tied to any single provider or organisation.

What Rally Point is not

Rally Point does not replace emergency services, medical practitioners, psychologists, psychiatrists, allied-health professionals, legal practitioners or accredited claims/advocacy services. It improves access and coordination, and connects you with those qualified professionals directly.
